MFA alumna Chandra DeBuse is emerging for a second time this spring. At the National Council for Education in the Ceramic Arts conference in Seattle she was chosen as one of a handful of rising new artists to present her work to the 4000+ people assembled for the conference.  The May issue of Ceramics Monthly (CM)arrived today, and Chandra is in print as one of the artists CM chose from a national pool to present as one of 14 Emerging Artist to their international readership. Chandra is currently at a funded residency at Arrowmont School, Gatlinburg, TN.

Also in this issue of CM, MFA alum Chris Pickett has work featured in an ad for Schaller Gallery; friend of UF Ceramics Martina Lantin has work pictured in the Artisan Gallery ad; and there is a beautiful ad from MFA alum Charlie Cummings Gallery for MFA alum TJ Erdahl’s upcoming show HUMAN nature.

*UF Graphic Design alum Robert Finkel designed the Tj Erdahl ad as well.
