UF School of Art + Art History alum Kymia Nawabi battling it out on Bravo’s “Work of Art,” Season Two

 

UF College of Fine Arts School of Art + Art History alum Kymia Nawabi (MFA Drawing and Painting, 2006) will be featured on the upcoming season of Bravo’s Work of Art: The Next Great Artist. Since graduating, Nawabi moved to New York City to pursue art and has earned several prestigious residencies and awards for her work. Work of Art: The Next Great Artist
is a creative competition series that follows the artistic process of 14 up-and-coming artists. These artists, under the watch of art world elites, compete for the grand prize of a solo show at the Brooklyn Museum and $100,000 cash. The second season premieres on Bravo Wed., Oct. 12 at 9 p.m. EST. With each episode, contestants are asked to create original artwork.
